Through public discourse, debate and discussions on international issues, students have the opportunity to aspire to institutional positions in the Model United Nations and to work further in international teams deepening international diplomacy, empowering their leadership skills, and developing their ability to understand and solve complex problems.<\/p>\n

The CGS MUN Conference has been recognized by the THIMUN Foundation as a THIMUN – affiliated conference since 2012, receiving the maximum honour a school can obtain from the official European MUN organization.<\/p>\n

From 8th<\/sup> to 10th<\/sup> December, the 12th CGS Model United Nations Conference will take place on the theme of “The Rise of Populism” and with the participation of 650 14-18 year old students from 35 private and public schools in Greece and abroad.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the conference, CGS has the pleasure and honor to host three outstanding speakers: Agni Marakakis, psychologist, accredited NLP Neuro-linguistic programmer and director of MindSearch, Daniel Esdras, head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Bryan Hoyt, Financial Advisor to the US Embassy.<\/p>\n
