CGS proudly participated in the Deree Debate Tournament<\/em>, held on 14\u201315 November 2025<\/strong>, one of the largest student debate events of the year. The tournament featured 80 teams<\/strong>, each consisting of two students from private schools, showcasing excellence in argumentation, public speaking, and critical thinking.<\/p>\n

Our school was represented by 13 students<\/strong>, who demonstrated outstanding preparation, ethos, and competitive spirit. The CGS delegation included:
\nOrfeas Mavros, Ariadni Moutsouri, Dimitris Hargitt, Dimitris Fragkos, Alexandros Hargitt, Dioni Kalpaka, Sevi Zafti, Lambros Fouyias, Pavlos Athanasiadis, Ioannis Gavounelis, Haris Kouroumalos,Leonidas Nikolakopoulos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A remarkable distinction was achieved by the team of Panteliadou \u2013 Zafti<\/strong>, who successfully advanced to the final round<\/strong> of the tournament, marking an exceptional accomplishment for our school.<\/p>\n

Additionally, student Dimitris Hargitt<\/strong> earned 8th place<\/strong> in the overall speakers\u2019 ranking, standing out among hundreds of participants and further highlighting the strong rhetorical skills of the CGS Debate Team.<\/p>\n

CGS extends its warmest congratulations to all participating students for their dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship, as well as to the CGS \u00a0debate coach \u00a0FOR the support and \u00a0\u00a0preparation. Participation in such competitions reinforces our commitment to fostering leadership, academic excellence, and effective communication skills among our students.<\/p>\n
