CGS at the 19th Global Issues Network (GIN) Student Conference!

Our school’s Global Issues Network (GIN) team actively participated in the 19th GIN Student Conference under the theme “Connecting for Impact: Harnessing Skills and Collaboration to Empower Communities”, held in Luxembourg on March 20-21, 2025.

The Global Issues Network (GIN) is an international student network that encourages young people to take action on important global challenges while fostering collaboration, leadership skills, and social awareness. Through presentations and workshops, students become agents of change in their communities.

As part of the conference, our students designed and led the workshop “Bridging the Gap: From Food Waste to Worth”, where participants developed a questionnaire aimed at utilizing surplus food through partnerships with the local community.

Through this creative workshop, students explored strategies to reduce waste and develop sustainable collaborations with local businesses that produce surplus food, with the goal of distributing it to community organizations and supporting vulnerable groups.

The workshop offered a combination of practical application and creative thinking, capturing the interest of participants and leaving a lasting positive impression.

Warm congratulations to all GIN team members for their contribution to the conference and the school’s social impact initiatives! 👏
