This January, our PYP and MYP students were invited to participate in an online EU-wide student conversation in celebration of European inventors – past, present and future.
In a live link with Think Young team leaders, our students learned about some amazing (and little known) European innovators like Jaap Haartsen who invented Bluetooth, Elvira Fortunato who invented paper-based microchips or Kornelis Schouhamer who invented the CD…and many others!
The fun part was CGS students were called upon to apply their new knowledge and creative thought in proposing their own inventions that could make life better in Europe through education, sustainability and digitalization!
CGS students, your inventive ideas may just be the future! Well done!
Special thanks to all the wonderful CGS educators for their support and enthusiasm!
