With great pride, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the members of our MUN Club, who have distinguished themselves through their dedication, eloquence during their participation in the prestigious international conference in The Hague (THIMUN).
Having already taken part in three conferences, with an additional three forthcoming in the coming months, our students have consistently demonstrated their passion for global discourse and collaboration, embodying the core values of diplomacy and international engagement.
From January 28th to 31st, our delegation participated in the 57th THIMUN (The Hague International Model United Nations Conference), centered on the theme: “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Humanity.” This distinguished event brought together over 3,000 students and 200 educators from around the world, fostering a dynamic environment for debate, negotiation, and problem-solving.
Representing New Zealand, thirteen of our students actively contributed to addressing pressing global issues. Our delegation comprised the following students:
Eleni Gatsou, Maximos Gomatos, Dioni Kalpaka, Haris Kouroumalos, Eva Loulou, Konstantinos Nikolaou, Kyveli Nikolidaki, Giorgos Skourletos, Emmanouella Tzoka, Lydia Toumpi, Marilena Tsiakanika, Konstantina Charalambous, and Zoe Chrysostomou.
A special commendation is due to Dimitris Hargit, who was distinguished as a Student Officer in the GA2 Committee (Economic and Financial Committee). His exemplary leadership skills and profound understanding of global challenges set him apart as a remarkable delegate.
