In collaboration with Anatolia College, John Hopkins University and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, CGS will be an examination center for the Center for Talented Youth (CTY Greece) for the third consecutive year.
The Center for Talented Children / CTY Greece comes under the auspices of both the Ministries of Education of Greece and Cyprus and was created through the partnership of the American College of Anatolia of Thessaloniki with the US Johns Hopkins University and a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
The Center for Talented Youth (CTY Greece) offers the most highly able and motivated young students from all over Greece and Cyprus the opportunity to develop their academic skills through extracurricular innovative programs (Summer, Weekend and Online) supported by a significant number of scholarships.
The SCAT (Scholastic and College Ability Test) / STB (Spatial Test Battery) assessment test includes multiple choice questions. Samples of the tests and more information can be found on our website: http: //www.cty-greece.gr/el/exams
No preparation is required for the test
For students to be able to take part in CTY Greece’s programs, they must first be assessed using the SCAT and / or STB Academic Skills Tests designed by the John Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth.
The exams will be held on Sunday 20 January, 2019 at CGS.
Candidates from grades 2 to 9 who wish to sit the exams can register electronically via the website: www.cty-greece.gr.
