On Wednesday, December 20, 2018 the Global Issues Network (GIN) club visited the Ark of the World – a voluntary non-profit charity for Mother and Child Protection. The mission of the Ark of the World is to provide protection, care and love to children without a supportive environment, and to support single-parent families facing serious financial and social problems.
During the visit to the Ark of the World, members of the GIN club offered stationery collected by the CGS community, were briefed on the history and work of the organization and were offered a guided tour of its premises. This action has led our students to becoming more sensitized towards modern-day problems and has helped them to understand their responsibility towards people in need.
