For the 10th consecutive year, CGS is organising the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Summer Workshops from Tuesday, June 18th to Thursday 27th June 2019. It has become common practice among IB schools to offer summer courses which contribute significantly to the students’ progress. In the IB DP Workshops, classes are small and take each participant’s individual needs into account.
The fee for participating in the programme for 1 week is € 300 and for 2 weeks € 500 and includes transport, activities and workshops. Those interested in participating are kindly requested to complete the Application Form and return it in person to the IB DP Secretariat or electronically to ibdiploma@cgs.edu.gr by Monday, 3 June 2019.
In order to reserve a place, the total amount due must be paid by Friday, 7 June 2019 at the latest.

Pre-IB DP
The workshops are open to CGS students and students from other schools who are interested in commencing the IB Diploma Programme in the academic year 2019-2020.
Summer Workshops contribute to the successful integration of students into the IB Diploma Programme, its mentality, philosophy and the students’ final choice of courses.
Programme:
1st week: Tuesday to Friday, 18 – 21 June
2nd week: Monday to Thursday, 24 – 27 June
Each student:
- can choose 1 or 2weeks
- 2 IB DP workshops per week
Mid-IB DP
The workshops are open to CGS students and students from other schools who wish to commence the second year of the IB Diploma Programme in the academic year 2019-2020.
The aims of the Summer Workshops are:
- the support of students in specific lessons.
- the guidance and completion of the assignments for the Internal Assessment of the programme, thereby earning students valuable time for study and revision during the second year of the IB Diploma Programme
- the completion of the Personal Statement for applications to Universities abroad
Programme:
1st week: Tuesday to Friday, 18 – 21 June
2nd week: Monday to Thursday, 24 – 27 June
Each student:
- can choose 1 or 2weeks
- 2 IB DP workshops per week
