CGS IB Diploma graduate, Vasilis Zygouris (Class of ’16) is in his first year at Delft University of Technology studying Aerospace Engineering. Vasilis has been selected among 20 students from across Europe to take part in a unique project, “Fly a Rocket!” where upon completion of a specially-designed course, students are then invited to take part in a full launch campaign at the Andoya Space Center in Northern Norway to…what else? Launch a rocket! The project is in collaboration with the Norwegian Centre for Space-related Education (NAROM), and the Norwegian Space Centre (Norsk Romsenter).
