Junior IT Support Technician
CGS is looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to provide daily technical support to staff, teachers, and students within the school environment.
The role includes troubleshooting IT issues, supporting classroom technology, and assisting with basic network maintenance, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school’s digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily IT support to users across the school.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, and other IT equipment.
- Support classroom technology, including projectors, interactive boards, and related devices.
- Assist with Wi-Fi, network connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Manage user accounts and password resets.
- Support the IT team with general technical and operational tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-service oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a school setting.
- Previous experience in IT support, relevant IT studies, or certifications will be considered an advantage.
