The CGS morning programme consists of five days of eight teaching hours for all high school classes. Students of the High School, in addition to all CGS students, have the opportunity to attend extra-curricular courses from 15.00 to 16.50.
A’ Lyceum students have an additional 5 periods a week in the compulsory morning programme compared to the number of hours stipulated by the Ministry of Education. Consequently, first year High School students who do not attend the Elite Athletes Programme are taught an additional 2 periods of English (4 in total). They also have the option of attending French, German, Mathematics or Modern Greek Language classes (2 periods) while all students attend clubs which are of interest to them. Moreover, since this is the final year of the MYP programme, there are specially designed courses to serve the objectives of the programme.
In addition, during the 15.00-16.50 zone, students can enrol in the SMART School extra-curricular programme, attend the Pre-IB programme, enrol in the foreign language club or, after a recommendation from their teachers, attend the Academia programme.
B’ Lyceum students have an additional 5 periods a week in the compulsory morning programme compared to the number of teaching hours stipulated by the Ministry of Education. Additional hours are available as follows: 4 periods of electives in addition to those stipulated (9 in total) and 1 period in Composition writing.
C’ Lyceum students have an additional 8 periods a week compared to those stipulated by the Ministry of Education. These hours are available as follows: 6 periods of electives in addition to the hours stipulated and an additional 2 periods in Composition writing.
