Curriculum I The learning community

IB PYP escapes from the rigorous student-teacher context and adds value to a coherent learning environment that encompasses students, teachers, directors and administrative staff, parents and guardians, the wider community.

It places special emphasis on human relations and all members of the community are called upon to commit themselves to:

  • collaborating with one another on the common goal of optimizing the learning process and the learning environment,
  • promoting the integration of all groups into it,
  • adopting a healthy and safe way of life.

In addition, learning must take place both within and outside the classroom, and for this reason the learning environment includes different spaces (school classroom, courtyards, library, workshops, formal and informal spaces) and tools (textbooks, toys, technological tools, basic materials).
