By completing his or her studies at CGS Pre-School, a child has all the skills and abilities and the required readiness they need to attend the PYP-Primary School.
The close collaboration between the Kindergarten and Primary School and the implementation of special programmes help the child to pass smoothly to the next educational level.
The common educational philosophy and continuity of programmes ensure a painless transition to the new level. The child is aware of his or her future environment, familiar with school spaces and faces and adapts to new conditions faster and better.
Within the framework of the ongoing collaboration between the Kindergarten and the Primary school there are:
- Exchange visits involving children and teachers between the two levels
- Participation of kindergarten teachers and Primary School teachers in common seminars/workshops
- Joint information-sharing meetings between kindergarten teachers and Primary School teachers
