IB PYP moves away from the strict student-teacher framework and places particular value on a coherent learning environment, which includes students, teachers, administration and administrative staff, parents and guardians, and the wider community.
It places particular emphasis on human relations and all members of the community are invited to:
- collaborate with the common goal of optimising the learning process and the learning environment,
- promote the inclusion of all groups in it,
- adopt a healthy and safe lifestyle.
In addition, learning must take place inside and outside the classroom, and for this reason, the learning environment includes different spaces (classroom, courtyards, library, laboratories, specialised formal and informal spaces) and tools (textbooks, games, technological tools, simple materials).
