Student Well-being is interwoven with the CGS educational design and the new IB Standards and Practices. In this context, and from 2022, CGS has established the role of the Well-being coordinator in the Primary / IB PYP who, in collaboration with the whole educational community, systematically enhances the all-around development of students.
Our priorities:
Aim High
Students aim to learn the importance of emotional wellbeing, to develop and value their own identity with the ultimate goal of becoming confident and aspirational individuals by developing social and emotional skills.
Achieve Excellence
Students develop in a stimulating and encouraging environment that helps them build confidence and resilience. A safe environment in which they learn to take risks and challenge themselves, providing a solid foundation for academic and social achievement.
Together
Students form positive interactional relationships through successes and challenges, cultivating skills that will support them throughout their education, and beyond, providing opportunities for a strong sense of belonging, participation and school pride.
