This year marked the CGS 15th annual university trip, an IBDP tradition and one of the most impactful experiences we offer students as they begin planning their next steps in higher education.
The trip follows our University Preparation Workshops, a series of interactive classes where students learn about the application process, entry requirements, and how to research universities and programs. Equipped with this knowledge, they head into the tour ready to ask great questions and explore their options with confidence.
Over the course of 7 days, we visited 12 top universities, colleges and academies across 7 cities in the Netherlands and Belgium. Students attended presentations by university representatives, toured campuses, and connected with current students.
One of the most inspiring moments was hearing from our own alumni, Ioanna Kavoukli now studying at the University of Amsterdam and Mike Papakonstantinou entering his final year at KU Leuven, who shared their personal experiences and advice on life and learning abroad
We also made time for fun…a scenic bike tour in Maastricht and a day trip to Bruges, filled with canals, cobblestones, waffles and chocolates!
Each year, this trip helps our students gain clarity, confidence, and excitement about their future paths. Here’s to the next 15 years of opening doors and broadening horizons!
